What is a Life Mastermind Group?
Based on the mastermind group model, a life mastermind group can be one of the most effective ways for us to achieve our personal life goals. A life mastermind group is a small, peer-to-peer learning group committed to personal growth. Life mastermind groups usually meet weekly in person or virtually and last from six to twelve weeks.

Each group member is responsible for setting his or her own personal goals and outcomes. Other members of the group provide feedback and accountability. Most groups use a book for curriculum. The benefits of a life mastermind group include:
- Clarify your goals
- Seeing a different perspective
- Receiving helpful feedback
- Being challenged to think differently
- Being accountable for taking action
- Connecting with other motivated people
- Overcoming personal obstacles and building momentum
How do life mastermind groups work?
Life mastermind groups are formed around specific topics, interests, and goals. Some groups may focus on a broader topic such as personal finance while other groups may focus on a specific action like developing a morning routine.
You must apply to join a life mastermind group. Applicants are selected based on goals, commitment, and potential compatibility with other group members. Applicants must be willing to make a 100% commitment to the group.
Once a life mastermind group is formed the work begins. Members begin reading, listening, and working toward their goals. Weekly meetings take place in person or virtually and usually last for around an hour.
For the duration of the life mastermind group, members are 100% responsible for attendance, participation, setting goals and outcomes, and being accountable to the group.
